What size is an FCL?
FCL refers to a full-container-load, so the actual size varies depending on the type of container used. The two most common containers are a 20-foot, and a 40-foot container. A 20-foot container measures 20’ L x 8’ W x 8.5’ H, which is roughly 6.1m x 2.4m x 2.6m. A 40-foot container is the same in width and height but measuring 40 feet or 12.3 m in length.
