TVS SCS’s In-House Charity is Inspired!

TVS Supply Chain Solution’s In-house Charity, Assist, has recently made a generous donation to local Chorley Youth Zone, known to locals as “Inspire”.

This purpose built facility is for the borough’s young people aged 8-19 and up to 25 for those with disabilities.  It provides access to fantastic facilities in a fun and safe environment.

Inspire Youth Zone allows young people to enjoy themselves and to raise their aspirations and confidence to create a happier and healthier generation with activities ranging from sport and arts, music and drama to employability and life skills workshops.

Steve Walters, TVS Assist Committee member, visited the centre and said “I was blown away by the work that goes on at Inspire”.

Sara Eltman, Fundraising Development Manager, said “Please be assured that your donation will make a huge difference to thousands of young people in the Chorley area. As a valued supporter you are helping to create a proud legacy for the future in our town and many young people will lead happier, healthier lives as a direct result of your donation.”

Inspire Youth Zone officially opened in May 2018 and goes from strength to strength.
