TVS SCS Supports Posturite’s Pedal for Stroke Charity Ride

TVS SCS was proud to support the Pedal for Stroke charity cycling event last week, hosted by our long-standing customer, Posturite Ltd, in aid of their charity partner, the Stroke Association.

Held on Thursday at the historic Herne Hill Velodrome in London — a venue that famously hosted cycling events during the 1948 Olympics — the event brought together riders from across the sector to cycle an impressive 100 kilometres in support of stroke recovery, rehabilitation, and awareness.

Representing TVS SCS was Rod McGowan, who completed the full 100km challenge with outstanding determination, energy, and community spirit. Battling through hills and heat, Rod was one of many cyclists who pushed themselves physically and mentally for a deeply meaningful cause. The atmosphere on the day was one of resilience, camaraderie, and shared commitment to making a difference.

Now in its third year, Pedal for Stroke has raised over £114,000 for the Stroke Association — funding that helps deliver essential support services, research, and advocacy for stroke survivors and their families. This remarkable figure is a testament to the drive and dedication of the Posturite team, including Chris Jones, Martin Green, Kate Wright, and the wider group who made the day such a success.

We’re incredibly proud to have taken part in this initiative and to support both our customer and such a vital cause. Events like these not only bring industries together but also highlight the positive social impact that can be achieved through collaboration.

At TVS SCS, we remain committed to supporting our customers’ community efforts and championing initiatives that align with our values. We thank everyone involved for their effort, enthusiasm, and generosity.

Together, we continue to move forward — one pedal at a time.
