TVS SCS Europe Introduces New Employee Volunteering Policy

TVS SCS Europe is proud to announce the launch of our UK & Europe Employee Community Volunteering Policy, a new initiative designed to give our people even more support to give back to the communities around them.

As part of our wider sustainability and social impact strategy, this policy enables eligible employees across the region to take up to one paid day per calendar year to volunteer during working hours. Whether it’s helping local charities, supporting people in need, or contributing to environmental projects, our teams now have a dedicated opportunity to make a real difference to causes close to their hearts.

A Culture of Giving

Volunteering has always been part of who we are at TVS SCS. This new policy recognises the incredible community work our people already do – and encourages even more of it.

Across the UK and Europe, our colleagues have demonstrated outstanding commitment to helping others. Recent examples include:

  • Supporting local food banks, assisting with collections, sorting, and distribution to families in need.
  • Raising money for charities through sponsored walks, fun runs, and fundraising events in support of causes such as healthcare, children’s services, and mental health.
  • Taking part in environmental clean-ups, helping to maintain local parks and remove litter from public spaces.
  • Supporting people in need, including volunteering time with hospices, care centres, and health charities assisting those living with illness or facing challenging circumstances.

These efforts are not only a source of pride for the business but also an embodiment of our shared values.

Why Have a Policy?

By providing a consistent and structured framework, we aim to:
