TVS SCS Champions Diversity and Inclusion at Women in Logistics Careers & Recruitment Event

TVS SCS recently took part in the Women in Logistics Careers & Recruitment Event at West Thames College, Isleworth — a dynamic forum bringing together industry leaders, educators, and aspiring professionals to promote inclusion and opportunity within the logistics sector.

Our active participation at the event underscores TVS SCS’s ongoing dedication to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and innovative logistics industry. The highlight of the day was an inspiring keynote speech delivered by our Divisional Managing Director of Courier Services, Simi Punn, a highly respected industry leader and recipient of the Institute of Couriers’ Services to Industry Award 2024. Simi shared her personal journey breaking barriers in a traditionally male-dominated field and delivered an empowering message to the attendees:

The mentoring initiative is a key part of our strategy to attract, retain, and develop female talent within the industry.

In addition, we collaborate closely with partners such as the Logistics Skills Alliance, working together to strengthen skills development and create a robust pipeline of future logistics professionals. These partnerships enable us to align training and development opportunities with industry needs, ensuring the sector remains competitive and inclusive.
