TVS Support Project Atlantic RDC Rollout

TVS recently attended the opening of Network Rail’s Regional Distribution Centre (RDC) at Warrington as part of the roll out of Project Atlantic.

Under this 8 year project, TVS will be supporting Network Rail to transform its Indirect Infrastructure Materials and Consumables supply chain to deliver improved reliability, safety and financial efficiency.

The Warrington location is one of 9 Regional DCs that will open to underpin the Project Atlantic vision. TVS will deploy its IT systems capability to provide location-specific supply chain management and optimised inventory levels in response to demands for infrastructure maintenance spares where and when they are needed.

The visit was an opportunity for the TVS contract delivery team to meet with our customer and to forge collaborative working relationships with Network Rail end users of our service, which will predominantly be Stores Managers and Engineers.

Terry Strickland – Head of Maintenance Delivery for North West Route said “We are delighted to welcome TVS to the opening of our new facility.  It is invaluable for the teams to have opportunity to start this journey together, so that we each understand how we can best work together to make Project Atlantic a success.”
