Nadal Forwarding S.L. Joins Forces With TVS Asianics

Nadal Forwarding strengthens its service offering to customers in Catalunya and Southern Europe through an alliance with Asia-focused logistics provider TVS Asianics.

Barcelona, December 15th, 2017 – Nadal Forwarding S.L., an international logistics company founded in 1979 in Barcelona, has joined the global integrated network of TVS Asianics.

Currently, Nadal Forwarding is a leader in freight forwarding and international logistics. Since its inception, the company has sustained growth, continuously improving its annual turnover. Economically self-sufficient, Nadal Forwarding closes 2017 off with the highest turnover in its history – 41 million Euros.

Jaume Altisent will continue to head-up Nadal Forwarding as CEO. He has been with the company since inception and was promoted to CEO in 2008, when Jordi Nadal, President and Founder of Nadal Forwarding, retired. “By joining the TVS Asianics network, we enter a new stage of expansion and growth. We have experienced continuous growth since 1979, and now with this alliance, we are preparing ourselves to create more value for our customers by offering a wider and a more competitive range of supply chain services at a global scale,” Mr. Altisent mentions.

With TVS Asianics’ deep knowledge, experience and operational focus on Asia and thanks to its integrated network, world-class technologies and systems, as a result of this alliance, Nadal Forwarding will be even better positioned to serve its customers by simplifying supply chain needs spanning Asia, Europe and the Americas.

“It is a significant step forward in the company’s development. We have high expectations of growth on an international level. At the same time, we will keep our family culture and we will continue to offer customized services to our clients. In addition, we will also continue to nurture our relationships with our customers, employees, partners and suppliers, as we have done throughout our 38 years of history,” says Mr. Altisent.

This association is part of TVS Asianics’ effort to build a substantial freight forwarding capability in Europe that will cement its position as a partner of choice for its customers that have already invested over 1 billion USD in R&D and manufacturing in Catalunya. Customers will now be able to benefit from a strengthened Europe-Asia trade network and the end to end supply chain services across transport, international freight, warehousing, materials management and distribution, that TVS Asianics has to offer. Supported by its parent company TVS Logistics Services, with this latest alliance, TVS Asianics will now have a presence in a total of 9 markets, having a strong presence in China, spanning 9 strategic cities, and Southeast Asia’s fastest growing economies. “I am excited to see TVS Asianics further strengthening our presence on the European continent and Asia. With this alliance, the company adds substantial capabilities and reach through Nadal’s presence in Southern Europe and China. With our focus on end-to-end supply chain value creation, we will be able to work closely with our customers to grow their businesses internationally,” says Mr. R Dinesh, Managing Director of TVS Logistics Services.

TVS Asianics is also actively working on expanding its geographical presence and supply chain capabilities further to cater to even more markets.
