Job Overview

 

TVS are operating as part of Team Leidos, a team of defence and logistics specialists, supporting a major transformation contract providing an end to end supply chain service delivering commodity and inventory savings to the UK Ministry of Defence.

 

This role will be working to provide and deliver a consistent and reliable Inventory Plan and an effective Equipment Management plan for the Team Leidos Community, working for TVS at the Team Leidos offices at Emersons Green in Bristol as part of a vibrant and dynamic team, committed to transforming the way the MOD is supported.

 

Please note we work on a hybrid model of three/four days working from home and one/two days in our offices in Emersons Green, Bristol each week. Therefore, you must be located within reasonable commuting distance to Bristol.

Job Responsibilities

  • Administer system generated Demand Forecast exceptions in line with business priorities meeting performance KPIs
  • Analysing data outputs from TVS ERP systems (called Msys) in order to refine inventory configuration
  • Interface with Commodity and Category teams:
    • To derive and set stocking policy and initial inventory level for new product introductions for a specified range.
    • Calculate and administer ‘All time Buys’.
  • Participate in process improvement projects under the direction of their Senior Inventory Planner team leader.
  • Lead Planner for controlled Stock (WR, EM, etc.) – creation, maintenance and issue
  • Lead Planner for Price List Management (entitlement) – creation & maintenance
  • Future events analysis – develop recommendations to optimise supply chain in support of planned events
  • Support change requests reviews and costing activity
  • Business Process Owner for BAR process
  • Business Process Owner for stock review and disposal process
  • Business Process Owner for Disposals

Qualifications and Skills

  • Demand Planning using system and forecast of activity data.
  • Ability to work at pace in a change environment
  • Capacity & willing to learn
  • Good communication skills
