Job Description
Job Overview
This newly created position is required to expand the Finance team due to growth of the business. This person will be responsible for all financial requirements for a number of clients, including a large energy and services company, which is a key client currently progressing through a significant transformation project. This person will provide Finance business partnering support, reporting and analysis for internal and external purposes; and provide support to the Account Management team in fulfilling the contracted services for those clients.
This position will require somebody to be on site at Magna park 1-2 times and the same at the Chorley site with 2 days per week working from home.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the preparation of client information for internal and external reporting purposes, covering the following:
- Calculation of fees and production of client statements
- Preparation of all supporting reports and data
- Weekly reporting requirements
- Other ad hoc analysis as required
- Preparation of all monthly management accounts elements relating to these clients
- Production of commercial modelling for forecasts and annual plan
- Scenario modelling and costing for contract renewals, extensions, additional scope of work
- Working alongside the Account Management teams and Senior Leadership Teams in provision of the contracted services
- Requires detailed knowledge of the client contracts
- Work closely with Account Manager to remain aware of all activity and ensure all billable work is identified and invoiced
- Identify opportunities to maximise profitability
- Attendance at contract review meetings as required
- Supporting quarterly and year end external audits, and internal control audits
- Continuously seek out process improvements
Qualifications and Skills
- Qualified CIMA/ACCA with 2-3 years experience
- Experience of working within a busy finance department in a similar role with a client focus
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with high level of attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate financial issues to non-finance professionals
- Organised and flexible approach to work, and able to work well under pressure
- Strong Excel skills
