Nadal Forwarding strengthens its service offering to customers in Catalunya and Southern Europe through an alliance with Asia-focused logistics provider TVS Asianics.
Barcelona, December 15th, 2017 – Nadal Forwarding S.L., an international logistics company founded in 1979 in Barcelona, has joined the global integrated network of TVS Asianics.
A leader in freight forwarding and international logistics, Nadal Forwarding has achieved profitable growth since its inception. The company expects to close 2017 off with the highest turnover in its history – 41 million Euros.
“It is a significant step forward in the company’s development. We have high expectations of growth on an international level. At the same time, we will maintain our family culture and continue to offer customized services to our clients. In addition, we will keep nurturing our relationships with customers, employees, partners and suppliers, as we have done throughout our 38 years of history,” says Jaume Altisent, who will continue to lead Nadal Forwarding as its CEO. He has been with the company since it was founded and was elevated to the position of CEO in 2008, when Jordi Nadal, President and founder of Nadal Forwarding, retired.
With TVS Asianics’ knowledge, experience and operational focus on Asia as well as its integrated network and world-class technologies and systems, Nadal Forwarding will, as a result of this alliance, be better positioned to serve its customers by simplifying Asia-related supply chain complexities.
“TVS Asianics recognises the strength of the Spanish economy, in particular, the significant manufacturing imports to and exports from Catalunya. We see an opportunity to increase the customer base of both companies by leveraging our joint capabilities on the Asia-Europe trade lane and TVS Asianics’ intra-Asia strength. Nadal Forwarding is an ideal partner for us due to its strong and knowledgeable workforce and its access to strategic locations within Southern Europe and China. We are excited about the journey ahead,” says James McAdam, CEO of TVS Asianics. With this alliance, TVS Asianics’ geographical reach will now extend to 9 countries, including a substantial presence in all major Chinese cities.
