Job Overview

To work as an integral part of the Business Transformation Team, designing and delivering engaging Training to support the roll out of internal and external Client projects.
This role will support TVS’s suite of Software Systems both internally and externally, so experience of Systems Training or an aptitude and enthusiasm to learn new systems is important.
This is a varied role that has a certain element of free reign for the right candidate.
It’s important that you have the desire to engage others and get enjoyment out of helping others learn.
We are looking for a well-rounded training professional or someone that has the drive and enthusiasm to learn and develop into the role.
For instance, you may have bags of experience and flair for designing great training content, but want to be more involved in delivery, and developing your training skills, or vice-versa.
The ability to work in a wider Team and adapt quickly to the changing needs of our business is essential.

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify Training Needs: Collaborate with Stakeholders and colleagues to identify how best to support the onboarding of new technology & processes. Undertake Training Needs analysis and create clear and effective Training Scope documentation.
  • Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with other departments to establish and promote best practices in training and onboarding new Clients with our Software. Supporting our colleagues in the Sales and Bid Teams in winning new business.
  • Develop and Implement Training Programs: Design and deliver comprehensive training programs, using different learning styles and media where appropriate. For instance, classroom training, remote sessions by Teams, to small and large audiences. You will also be comfortable in defining all learning materials that need to be created to support each project.
  • Develop Training Strategies and Materials: Create and update training plans, initiatives, and materials to support our Software and processes. Creation of Training Videos, User Guides and Manuals, SOP’s and Work Instructions. Ability to design training using an e-learning package would be an advantage but is not essential.
  • Project managing the design of blended learning content and completion of multiple training programmes concurrently. Ability to adapt and change to business needs and prioritise accordingly.
  • Identify Skill Gaps:  Evaluate staff and department performance to identify skill gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Schedule Training Sessions: Plan and organize individual and group training sessions to ensure adoption of new Technology & processes, and the development of our colleagues.
  • Communicate Training Needs and Resources: Clearly identify & communicate the required Training Resources needed to deliver each project.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in delivering training to learners with different levels of ability and using different delivery methods EG: Face to Face, Remote and on the Job Training
  • Experience in designing training content: Training plans, videos, user guides, manuals, other learning aids
  • Experience working in a similar fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Confident and proactive
  • Competence in using Microsoft Office suite and generally IT competent
  • Excellent presentation skills using appropriate media
  • Attention to detail and organisational skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
  • Willing to learn and progress in a dynamic organisation
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to work in a team and independently
  • Additional plus point – Experience of delivering Software Training
  • Additional plus point – Experience of designing e-learning, videos or interactive content
