Job Overview

TVS are working as part of Team Leidos, which is a team of defence and logistics specialists, supporting a major contract providing an end to end supply chain service delivering commodity and inventory savings to the UK Ministry of Defence.


The Supply Chain Coordinator will be working for TVS at the Team Leidos Distribution Centre in Donnington on an initial 12 month fixed term contract as part of a vibrant and dynamic team, committed to transforming the way the MOD works. There will be a requirement to attend our offices in Bristol initially for a two week period for training then on a monthly basis going forwards. This role will be predominantly remotely managed. However, your Line Manager will make regular visits to support you in your role


This is a new role which we are piloting for an initial 12-month period. If this is successful, we will potentially be seeking to make this role permanent

Job Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Coordinator will be working on the smooth running of a range of medical products in support of the Armed Forces, with duties including but not limited to:

  • Managing incoming Medical products and equipment to the Distribution Centre, ensuring systems are aligned to enable stock to be receipted in a timely manner
  • Manage any non-conforming receipts, rectify where applicable and escalating to colleagues as necessary
  • Support onsite colleagues and provide a feedback to colleagues based at other sites
  • Manage the authorisation of disposal of medical products
  • Serve as a focal point for data integrity issues between systems and teams
  • Engage with Suppliers to promote improved compliance to prescribed delivery standards

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge and experience of working in a Supply Chain environment.

  • Some knowledge of medical products or a willingness to learn as full training will be provided.
  • Be proficient in data manipulation and analysis with a good knowledge of MS Office applications as well as some experience of warehouse/logistic systems
  • Willingness to learn and explore IS challenges and actively contribute to improvements


The successful candidate will be required go through a Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) Clearance then to obtain full SC clearance without restriction.
