Job Overview

Provide Business Analysis and Continuous Improvement (in a reporting context) for TVS SCS Customer Service in Chorley

Job Responsibilities

· Data-solution design, problem-solving and supply-chain workflow initiatives

· Generation and maintenance of Client report suites, utilising both Cognos and Excel

· Continuous improvement, development and streamlining of reporting processes

· Liaise with “end-users” to provide bespoke, high-quality and meaningful data

· Collaborate closely with other department to develop an increasingly efficient, robust and effective reporting suite for clients.

· Produce Excel-based data analysis/manipulation/summarization

Qualifications and Skills

· Able to build datasets into meaningful tables and summaries

· Familiar with coding-type syntax (i.e. Excel formulae, VBA)

· Able to understand customer/client need, within a given context, and provide a solution to fit

· Eye for the visual aspect of data-presentation

· Aptitude for problem-solving with logical, methodical approach

· Able to work under pressure, self-manage work-load and hit deadlines

· Advanced Excel-skills, focussed on data-analysis and summarisation

Proficiency with Python, VBA and/or SQL (beneficial)

· Report production/analysis experience (essential).

· Cognos BDA is preferred, although other systems will be considered (and training provided for Cognos)

· Background in a Supply-Chain environment (advantageous)

· Basic coding
