To provide Business Analysis support and Management Reporting for TVS SCS.
- Production, development and maintenance of ‘Cognos Analytics’ Reports and Dashboards, in support of current and new-business.
- Generation and maintenance of Client report suites, using Cognos, Excel and Word.
- Excel-based data analysis/manipulation/summarization.
- Continuous improvement, development and streamlining of reporting processes.
- Data-solution design, problem-solving and supply chain workflow initiatives.
- Close liaison with customers/end-users to provide bespoke, high-quality and meaningful data
- Work with IT department to develop an increasingly efficient, robust and effective Business-Intelligence infrastructure.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrable experience with BI reporting tools is beneficial – Cognos is preferred, although other systems will be considered (and training provided for Cognos).
- Advanced excel-skills, with sound understanding of formulae.
- Aptitude for problem-solving with logical approach.
- Able to work under pressure, self-manage work-load and hit deadlines.
- Proficiency with VBA/SQL would be beneficial.
- BI reporting experience is essential.
- Previous experience in a supply-chain environment is advantageous.
- Background in numerical or financial discipline would be valuable.
- Basic coding experience would prove useful.
