Job Overview

Working across our Lutterworth campus with one of the UK’s largest energy providers, the data scientist will be key in improving future forecasting both within operations as well as to provide an improved service to the customers nationwide fleet of field engineers. The data scientist will be key in driving the correct business decisions supporting the success of two warehouse sites & supply chain operation

Job Responsibilities

• Working with data both internally and from the customer to understand demand profiles for field requirements & returns.
• Exploring the use of AI & machine learning tools to support the transformation of both the logistical & warehousing areas of the business.
• Assist in the creation of reports to effectively measure success of all supply chain & warehouse processes and feedback into the operations teams.
• Support in the production of regular reporting streams for use within business reviews as well as producing adhoc reports when required.
• Work closely with business leadership to understand their needs and where data can help us to make better decisions.
• Attend monthly Account Review Meetings and report on current and delivered initiatives.
