Job Overview

TVS are operating as part of Team Leidos, a team of defence and logistics specialists, supporting a major transformation contract providing an end to end supply chain service delivering commodity and inventory savings to the UK Ministry of Defence.


We are now recruiting for a Data Administrator working for TVS at the Team Leidos offices at Emersons Green in Bristol as part of a vibrant and dynamic team, committed to transforming the way the MOD works.


The Data Administrator is required to control, monitor and administer the Joint Asset Management and Engineering Solutions (JAMES) Management Information System (MIS) across the medical equipment area. The role will also include general administration responsibilities across the Equipment Support Management (ESM) team.


Please note we work on a hybrid model of three/four days working from home and one/two days in our offices in Emersons Green, Bristol each week. Therefore, you must be located within reasonable commuting distance to Bristol.

Job Responsibilities


  • Focal point for the business on all things Joint Asset Management and Engineering Solutions (JAMES)
  • Birthing all new equipment and deleting old equipment once obsolete from JAMES
  • Work with Equipment Support Managers (ESMs) on equipment modifications and completion
  • Create and maintain medical modules on JAMES
  • Maintaining Equipment Breakdown Structures (EBS) in JAMES
  • Create and amend maintenance events on JAMES.
  • Work with ESMs to interact with equipment manufacturers for certificates of authenticity for their products and maintain a record of those obtained.
  • General administration duties as dictated by ESM Lead.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Essential will be a background in the functionality of managing information systems.
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft word, excel & PDF software.
  • Any experience with Ministry of Defence (MOD) systems such as Oliver, SS3, etc advantageous.
  • Previous experience of working in defence sector (ideally at Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) or front-line command units) advantageous but not essential
  • Knowledge of MOD acquisition safety processes and policy would also be an advantage.
