PURPOSE

To support the Account Manager with the day-to-day running of customer accounts, ensuring value is added and to support the commercial decision making process to maximise revenue and profit for TVS and deliver service excellence. To challenge the effectiveness of all business processes which underpin performance on the contracts and support the Account Manager to drive the continuous improvement of those processes.

 

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Account Manager to ensure contract performance KPI’s and inspirational service is delivered
  • Work with the Account Manager to ensure contracted profit and revenue targets are achieved
  • Identify and suggest continuous improvement ideas and cost-down opportunities to the Account Manager
  • To support the Account Manager in reviewing the effectiveness of KPI’s and performance measurement of the contracts
  • Build strong relationships with the client and be the first point of contact for escalations
  • Support the Account Manager in preparing and delivering monthly & quarterly client meetings
  • Suggest flexible & innovative solutions to the client’s operational issues
  • Build and maintain relationships with all key internal stakeholders within TVS SCS
  • Identify growth opportunities and solutions for both the Client and TVS SCS
  • Maintain reports in the form of management reports and operational review minutes
  • Keep abreast of the client’s issues, their industry issues and all related legislative matters
  • Support the Account Manager with any ad-hoc project support

EXPERIENCE

This role will be ideal for someone looking to develop their skillset within Account Management.

  • Understanding of commercial and supply chain operations
  • Direct first-hand experience of dealing with clients
  • Experience of demanding performance and financial targets, which include cost control
  • Commercial and operational background would be of advantage
  • Experience of developing relationships with key clients
