Electricity North West have praised TVS SCS for the exceptional service that they have been providing throughout the recovery process of the ENWL network, which was compromised as a result of the recent flooding.

ENWL worked around the clock to ensure that their customers were returned to light and remained with electricity, despite the devastation of the weather. Thanks to the commitment and dedication of the TVS SCS team, ENWL were soon on their way to recovery.

The extent of support provided by TVS ranged from the initial, emergency response (out of hours warehousing and deployment of goods to the field), to the strategic planning of the recovery process (identifying priorities, establishing lines of communication and reporting on the inventory availability at various locations and transferring any required stock).

TVS’ seamless and intelligent solutions were recognised by ENWL Logistics Manager Greg Holden who stated: “I’d just like to say a huge thank you for the efforts of all the TVS staff who have been fantastic since Sunday morning.  We haven’t reached the end of the recovery of our network but we are well on the way.  Without their expertise and effort we would not be able to keep our front line staff working to get customers back into the light.”

“The flooding has brought about an immense amount of devastation and uncertainty to the region, we are grateful to our customers for their patience throughout what has been a very difficult time. We strive to ensure that they remain our priority.”

We are grateful to all those involved during the flooding repair and rescue effort, to have our work recognised and praised by our customers is a true testament to the dedication and hard work of our team.
